Daniel W. Baker PhD, PE is a Faculty Instructor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Colorado State University (CSU). He completed his PhD at CSU in 2009 and also earned his PE in the state of Colorado in 2015. He spends most of his time teaching Engineering Mechanics courses these days, but also continues to work on a range of research and consulting projects developing decision and design tools related to river systems. He is the past-chair of the national ASCE-EWRI River Restoration Technical Committee is the Walter S. Scott Engineering College representative on the CSU Committee on Non-Tenure Track Faculty.
